Hi! I left a comment on flickr, too – I was wondering how you added the belt/sash to the bubble dress?? I’m hoping you did it ‘after’ and that it’s not sewn in (I want to make a sash for my daughter’s already-finished bubble dress). Thanks!

Gosh, I don’t have girls, so I’m not sure. Right now I’m working on my little boys room and doing a woodland animal theme. I’ve painted an owl in a tree on one side with a glowing moon over it. I want a tree and birds flying on the other side. A toadstool. All in brown. You could do pink walls & brown accents. Look at these beautiful wall decals! I would choose your favorite fabrics to make the curtains, pillows etc. and also decorate a letter initial for each girl to hand over their bed or over their special spot in the room.
I like the applique pattern the best.

make a loose fist and dip the side of your fist (baby finger side) in paint (I like yellow and white or pink and green) vary these in pathways on the wall using alternate hands… add little dots above each with your pinkies… 5 each… do you know what it makes? Little wandering footprints

I would love the Dr. Seuss, but both are wonderful!

I think you can’t go wrong with looking to nature. Find a nature-themed fabric that you love and go from there. I did this with my own kids’ bedroom using Moda Wonderland. I love it!
